Manufactured in Italy, the screen is made from high-quality, 3mm thick PMMA plexiglass that is DOT626 approved, ensuring both durability and optical clarity. Engineers designed it to be 11.5 cm taller and 7.5 cm wider than the original windshield, providing a much larger area of coverage. This increased size effectively redirects airflow over the rider’s helmet and shoulders, drastically reducing the annoying turbulence and buffeting that can make long-distance riding uncomfortable.
The dark smoked tint not only adds a sleek, aggressive look that complements the Z900’s sharp lines but also helps reduce sun glare, improving visibility on bright days. The design seamlessly integrates with the bike’s aesthetics, appearing as a natural extension rather than a bulky add-on.
This makes it a popular choice for riders who want to significantly improve touring comfort without complex modifications. Ultimately, the WRS Touring Windscreen is an excellent investment for Z900 owners wanting to transform their bike into a more capable and comfortable long-distance machine while maintaining its distinctive style.
