Many modern sports bikes come equipped with a servomotor-controlled exhaust valve. When upgrading performance parts—such as replacing the exhaust or adding an aftermarket control unit—it becomes necessary to eliminate the stock exhaust valve system.

However, this often causes ECU errors, warning lights, and even the activation of limp mode, which reduces engine performance.
